CombiMag Split Twin – twice the cleaning power Kamco has introduced the ultimate power flushing filter; the CombiMag Split Twin, for use when cleaning domestic or small commercial heating systems. It is the first twin cylinder power flushing filter to remove corrosion debris from both the flow and return hoses to the heating system at the same time. When power flushing a heating system, regular reversing of the direction of flow - known as back-flushing - is key to getting systems really clean. The new CombiMag Split Twin is effectively two separate filters in an integral unit. Irrespective of the direction of flow, debris is always removed from the water before it returns to the power flushing pump, so that it is not recirculated through the heating system. This protects the small bore waterways and other sensitive components, such as diverter valves, from contamination with sludge and corrosion debris, and the subsequent risk of a boiler warranty being voided. The Split Twin is incredibly effective at removing debris from heating systems. Each of the 11000 gauss, 400mm rare earth magnets is capable of removing more than 3.7kg of magnetic sludge before requiring cleaning. The transparent cylinders mean that engineers (and householders) can see the debris building up on the magnets, and can assess when the magnets need cleaning without removing them first. When cleaning is necessary, an individual bypass on each cylinder allows engineers to continue power flushing whilst doing so. The Split Twin is supplied in a tough waterproof storage crate which can be used as a bund during the power flush, as well as providing convenient storage for hoses. The CombiMag Split Twin can be used with any power flushing pump. 222878-Spr PH Kamco.indd 1 15/03/2017 12:54
