The City of London Law Society is one of the largest local Law Societies in the United Kingdom. There are 17,000 solicitors practising in the “Square Mile”, who account for 15% of the profession in England and Wales.

The CLLS represents over 15,600 of these solicitors through individual and corporate membership. The CLLS was originally part of the City of London Solicitors’ Company, but in 2007 it formally separated from the City of London Solicitors’ Company to become a freestanding local Law Society, confirming its position as the professional representative body for solicitors and law firms in the City.

City Solicitor, produced quarterly, is the only official magazine of the City of London Law Society and the City of London Solicitors’ Company.

The magazine, featuring high production values, is produced in both hard copy and digital page turning ezine versions, offering advertisers unrivalled access to the 15,600 individual and corporate members of the City of London Law Society.

City Solicitor, having been published for many years, is a respected magazine and one of the key membership benefits of the CLLS, containing an engaging mix of high quality news, articles, interviews, events calendars and features of interest to those practicing law within the “square mile”.

Historically, City Solicitor has not offered the facility to include advertising, but commencing in October 2016, City Solicitor will include display advertising for the first time.

City Solicitor magazine is distributed or made available in both hard copy and digital ezine formats throughout the 15,600 members of the City of London Law Society and, on occasion, is even placed on major law firms internal digital networks to offer easy access to the readership.

Every issue of City Solicitor will also be hosted on the City of London Law Society’s main website, enabling visitors to access, read and also download the magazine freely.
