Progress is the official membership magazine of the NHIC, produced to reflect the important work of the NHIC and the activities of its high profile membership.
Produced on a quarterly basis (January, April, July and October each year) in both hard copy and digital formats, Progress is a vital tool to provide the membership with engaging, high quality and topical content covering industry news, CDP information, events, legislation, case studies and feature articles drawn from across the spectrum of industries associated with high quality home improvement and renovation.
Progress will also regularly feature informative/valuable articles and opinion pieces written and supplied by key individuals at the associations and trade bodies who make up the combined voice of the NHIC.
The National Home Improvement Council (NHIC) is a member based organisation whose primary aim is to encourage the safe and efficient refurbishment of the UK’s existing homes across the private and social housing sectors to improve living standards and reduce fuel poverty.
The NHIC use the expertise from across the membership to influence decision makers to bring about positive change for UK homes.
The mission of the NHIC is to be the voice of the home improvement industry, with the vision of the NHIC to promote to homeowners the benefits of renovating and upgrading homes to high energy efficiency standards and to help save money on improvements throughout the home.
The NHIC maintains a close liaison with government, local authorities, housing associations, private householders and landlords as well as product manufacturers and service providers – being the strong voice of the home improvement industry to government, the NHIC works to ensure housing policies and public funding are directed at home improvement.
